How to take really strong bike photos

Morning or evening

Natural light beats any flash

Shoot outdoors in the shade or under an overcast sky. Direct midday sun creates harsh shadows, and flash reflects off the paint.

Place the bike with intention

Drive side to the camera, cranks horizontal
Camera at hub height, not from above
Some distance from the wall so no shadow falls
