How do I search for a bike?
Type the name of the city or district you want to rent a bike in the search bar. Our search engine will show you all results including a map view with the locations. You can add filters for the bike type and the date in this step already!
How do I create an account?
Click on "Sign-up" and fill out the required information with a few details to get the best out of listnride and meet people with great bikes. You can also use the one-click Facebook registration for signing-up.
How do I list my bike?
Click on “List a Bike” and add information about your bike including the bike type, accessories that you can provide with the bike, brand, description, size, pictures and rental price. When done, click “List my Bike”. Your bike is now available for rental!
How do I set the rental price?
You are completely free to decide on the rental price. Note that the weekly price can’t be lower than the daily price. To determine the most appropriate rental price, you can compare your bike to similar available bikes on listnride.
How do I know if my bike is requested?
You will receive an email and sms notification, informing you on the new booking request, containing all relevant details. Login and go to “My Bookings” to accept or reject the booking and start a chat with the Rider if there is something to clarify. If you accept the request the booking is done. You will receive a booking confirmation with all the relevant information and contact details of the Rider via email.
How do I rent a bike?
The first step is to search for a city in the search bar. If you prefer one specific bike type or date you can use these filters directly in this first step. You can now see all the available bikes and filters for sizes and brands as well. Select your preferred bike and request it. Select the rental days and exact times of the bike on its detail page. If you’re planning to pick up and return the bike on the same day, click twice on the date and then choose the time slot. Afterwards you can click on “Request the bike” and redeem a voucher in case you have one.
Throughout the booking flow you will be asked for all your relevant information, such as phone number, home address and a valid payment method. Your personal data will be stored safely. Through this process we can mediate a valid rental contract for both parties and make sure payments happen in a secure manner.
What kind of payment methods are accepted?
We support payment through Paypal and the most common credit cards e.g. Mastercard and Visa. Offline or cash payments are in violation with our Terms and Conditions. It might result in a removal of your account from listnride. It is in your own interest to avoid cash payments as it makes it harder for us to protect your information and puts you at a greater risk of fraud and other security issues.
When do I pay for a bike rental?
You will need to enter your payment data before you can request any bike. The payment will take place only after the Lister has accepted your request. So if you or the Lister cancels a request no payment will be triggered.
